AECOM, a design and management company has selected OpenPages Sarbanes-Oxley Express (SOX Express) for its global compliance initiative.

SOX Express is used to automate a company's evaluation process and internal controls documentation. In particular so they can achieve compliance with Sections 302 and 404 of the act.

“OpenPages has a solid reputation in helping companies achieve their compliance goals with respect to Sections 302 and 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act,” said Michael Burke, senior vice president of corporate strategy at AECOM. “SOX Express’ document management and compliance automation capabilities will enable us to streamline our 404 documentation initiatives and help us identify and communicate process improvement opportunities in an efficient manner.”

The suite itself is an enterprise compliance management solution. Features include document management, business process management and reporting capabilities.

Testing and reviewing of internal controls can be a time consuming and expensive business. Following the introduction of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, compliance management has become one of the hottest growth areas for automation.
