ArcSight has released a new enterprise compliance suite of packages aimed at the Sarbanes-Oxley and IT governance markets.

Formally known as ArcSight Compliance Insight Packages, they are a series of best practices based reports, rules and dashboards. The aim is to build a comprehensive log review foundation for compliance requirements.

Other than SOX, the launch is aimed at the HIPAA, FISMA and PCI regulatory regimes.

ArcSight based the practices on work done by the ISO and the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST).

Features include comprehensive report templates, graphical dashboards, focused tracking of administrative activity and real-time identification of high-risk activity.

The Sarbanes-Oxley and IT Governance packages are available now. The PCI and HIPAA packages will be released in the first half of 2006.
