Crowe Chizek and Company has announced an alliance with Avamar Technologies.

Crowe Chizek is a public accounting and consulting firm. Avamar is a vendor of enterprise data protection software.

The solution seeks to deliver data protection and recovery strategies by offering services for business continuity management using Avamars software.

Avamar's technology is currently available through Crowe Chizek's business continuity management practice. The business continuity unit in turn is part of its risk technology services group. IT audit, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 IT controls testing, identity and access management are also offered.
